ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
- Madrid and Lisbon
Artelia is looking for Electrical Engineers for its Madrid and Lisbon offices. The selected person will report to the Head of the Engineering Department and will participate in electrical design projects for the installation of chargers, self-consumption and construction in general.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of electrical reports and calculations.
- Coordinate and check supplier documentation
- Measurements for drawing up plans, document management and use of AutoCAD.
- Design and planning of electrical installations (HV and LV).
- Assist with site supervision.
- Project management and supervision of electrical works and installations.
- Apply instrumentation design criteria, practices and guidelines (codes and standards).
- Define control system hardware specifications (minimum system requirements).
- Preparation of electrical block diagrams and instrumentation installation.
- Preparation of cable lists (basic platform).
- Preparation of electrical installation instructions.
- Management of electrical panel certification.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in charger project design, photovoltaic installation and construction (5 years desirable).
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of national regulations and legislation.
- Upper intermediate level of English (B2 or higher).
- Driving licence.
Essential tools: AutoCAD, Presto and MS Office.
Valuable tools: BIM360, Revit, CYPE, Caneco, Dialux.
ENGINEER | ARCHITECT | PROJECT MANAGER

Artelia is looking for professionals in electrical engineering, architecture and project management to work on projects in the real estate, energy and mobility sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Management and supervision of real estate, energy and mobility projects.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery in line with client requirements.
- Review and validate technical specifications and reports to ensure compliance with legislation, standards and contracts.
- Oversee permitting and licensing processes. –
- Conducting due diligence.
Key relationships:
- Internal:
- Coordinate with the Operational Director of Artelia Spain to prepare reports and manage activities.
- Collaborate with the Business Director of Artelia Portugal on business development activities.
- External:
- Direct contact with clients and different project stakeholders: designers, technicians, contractors and suppliers (commercial proposal phase).

Requirements:
Education: Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
Experience: 0 to 3 years in Project Management, Site Supervision or Design Coordination.
- Languages:
- Portuguese (native).
- English (fluent).
- Spanish (desirable).
- Technical:
- MS Office (advanced user).
- MS Project & AutoCAD (valuable).
- Driving licence.

TECHNICAL ARCHITECT
- Madrid and Barcelona
- Administer and manage the tenders necessary to implement the project, including design teams, contractors, consultants and additional studies.
- To manage the procedures for obtaining licences and permits, being the main interlocutor with the administration and its technical offices.
- Supervise and coordinate the drafting of the project with all the agents involved: architects, engineers, interior designers, consultants and project management.
- Control the costs, planning and quality of the work, anticipating deviations and proactively seeking solutions.
- Supervise the work and manage certifications to ensure compliance with the project objectives, controlling modifications to avoid deviations in the budget or planning.
- Drafting minutes and reports, as well as administrative management material and reports for the client.
- Provide regular communication and ongoing technical advice to customers.
Project Management
- Project management from the collection of requirements to the completion of the work and delivery of the file.
- Assess the feasibility of the intervention and collect needs from different departments (Engineering, Production, Maintenance, General Services, IT and Indirect Purchasing).
- Support in the analysis of the compatibility of the intervention with production processes.
- Make preliminary cost estimates.
- Support in the contracting of engineering firms for the development of the project or study.
- Follow-up of projects and support in the tendering phase from the Indirect Purchasing department.
- Carry out the pre-selection of suppliers, evaluation and review of bids, and award proposal.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors.
- Follow-up of licences and permits with public administrations (City Council, Generalitat).
- Propose solutions and alternatives as a technical reference to the client.
Cost Management
- Manage costs according to the demand and needs of the project/work.
- Follow-up of the awarded budget, certifications, scope changes, etc.
- Carry out cost estimates to assess feasibility.
Due Diligence
- Develop ad hoc reports according to the need for intervention vs. investment.
- Manage the CAPEX Plan, including:
- Preparation of specifications, dossiers and documents annexed to annual investment requests.
- Support in planning the implementation of investments.
- Qualifications: Technical Engineer or Higher Engineer, Architect, Technical Architect or similar.
- Technical expertise:
- Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) – Advanced level.
- Microsoft Project – Advanced level.
- AutoCAD 2D/3D – Advanced level.
- Experience:
- More than 5 years in construction monitoring and similar positions.
- More than 2 years in complex industrial buildings.
- Experience as Project Manager in railway environment is a plus (track and electrification).
- Experience in hotel construction and participation in drafting and coordinating architectural projects.
- Languages:
- Minimum level of English B2 (preferably C1).
- Previous experience in project management of buildings with international environmental certifications and knowledge of the different current environmental certifications.
